Are used tires safe to buy in Ontario?
Yes — when properly inspected. Every used tire we sell is hand-inspected for tread depth (minimum 6/32"), age (DOT date code under 6 years), sidewall integrity, internal lining, and any signs of dry-rot, plugs, or repairs. Tires that don't pass our 12-point inspection are rejected. Buying inspected used tires from a professional is significantly safer than buying unverified tires from classifieds.
How much do used tires cost in the GTA?
Quality used tires start at $40 each installed, depending on size, brand, and remaining tread. A complete inspected set of four typically ranges from $200 to $500 — a fraction of new tire pricing. We always quote the all-in price (tire + mount + balance + valve stem) before any work begins.
How much tread do your used tires have?
Our minimum standard for used tires is 6/32" of tread depth — well above Ontario's legal limit of 2/32". Most of our inventory has 7–9/32" remaining, giving you 1–3 more seasons of safe use depending on driving habits and conditions.
Do you have used winter tires?
Yes. We carry a rotating stock of used 3PMSF-rated winter tires in popular Ontario sizes — perfect for getting through one or two more winters without paying full retail. All winter inventory is inspected for tread, age, and sidewall condition before sale. Stock is highest from September through November.
Do you deliver and install used tires at my location?
Yes. We deliver and install used tires anywhere in the Greater Toronto Area — your driveway, condo lot, office, or workplace. Installation includes mounting, dynamic balancing, valve stems, torque-spec install, and TPMS reset. No store visit required.
Do used tires come with any warranty?
Used tires don't carry a manufacturer warranty, but our installation work is guaranteed and we stand behind every tire we sell. If a tire we installed develops a defect within 30 days that's clearly not from road damage, we'll swap it out at no charge.
Should I buy used or new tires?
Used tires are an excellent choice if you're driving an older vehicle, looking for a budget-friendly winter set, leasing a car you'll return soon, or just need to replace a single damaged tire on an otherwise good set. New tires are the better long-term value if you plan to keep the vehicle 4+ years and drive high mileage. We're happy to help you decide.
Can I trade in my old tires?
We sometimes purchase or accept trade-ins on quality tires with significant tread remaining. Send us photos of your sidewall, the DOT date code, and the tread, and we'll let you know if they're a fit for our inventory.
